Programs Overview

Right Experiences at the Right Time

Did you know that the first five years of a child’s life are critical for development? The experiences children have in these years help shape the adults they will become. According to studies, about 90 percent of a child’s brain and 85 percent of a child’s intellect, personality and social skills are developed by that age. That is why it is vital to rouse their curiosity and provide a rich environment for learning and growth.

Each of our programs provide a strong curriculum that is purposeful, fulfilling age-appropriate experiences and interests. Teachers are trained and skilled to meet the specific needs of your child through his and her active learning years. Our youngest program, the Toddler Daycare starts as early as 12 months of age, followed by preschool through kindergarten in a cohesive progression. Our enrichment programs offer activities that deepen skills and interests, improve academic performance and engage the lives of school-age students beyond the classroom. The overall experiences at Hand In Hand promote a love of school while nurturing social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. We hope you take advantage of all the programs we have to offer you and your family.

Our Early Preschool program, for two year olds, is where friendships begin to develop and children broadens the use of their words and thoughts to interact with teachers and classmates. We introduce them to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring to help develop their unique skills and interests.

As children enter our Preschool program for three year olds, they’re asking questions nonstop and want to do more and more by themselves. It is this natural sense of curiosity that we use to inspire them to learn and grow. It’s also an important time as they develop skills that form the foundation for reading, writing and mathematics getting ready for the leap to Kindergarten.

The Kindergarten program for the four and five year olds, is a two-year program designed to give children the advantage of an additional year to comfortably and confidently enter first grade. The comprehensive, school readiness curriculum challenges children academically while continuously supporting all areas of development provides a winning combination for Kindergarteners.
